How the DHW heat pump works
DHW Heat Pump absorbs the heat from the outside air or indoor warm air, the warm air heat will evaporate the refrigerants flowing in the heat pump coils and the refrigerants will become hot, when the hot refrigerant flows into the coils around the water tank, the heat will naturally transfer to the water tank and the water inside the tank, as long as the compressor and fan motor keep running, the heat will be conveyed to the water inside the tank. After hours, the sanitary water will become warm and suitable. The water tank is protected with a 50mm thickness foam to keep the water warm inside the tank. The compressor and fan motor need to be powered by electricity, and when they consume 1 kilowatt electricity, in spring, the heat pump will generate 4 kilowatts of heat for the water, and the rest 3kw are from the air. In summer, it will get more heat.

High Temperature and Disinfection
The heat pump heats the water to 65 °C without a backup electric heater element and then heats it to 75 °C to disinfect it. Usually, the hot water needed on the body is 40 °C, which is easy for the DHW Heat pump to reach. Moreover, the disinfection is programmed in the controller software to ensure the house owner can schedule the time.
Heat Preservation
VISSPLUS DHW heat pump water tank is completely sealed with 50mm-thickness foam to keep the water warm.After 24 hours without no heating running, the water temperature in the tank reduces no more than 10 °C.Whi9h means for a three members of family,the heat pump just runs once time in two days.
PV Ready
VISSPLUS DHW heat pump hybrid type to get free electricity from solar photovoltaic. It is recognized and marked as an “SG Ready” label.
P&T Valve
The pressure and temperature valve is in the package of the domestic hot water heat pump. Installers can decide to add it or not. The P&T Valve release the pressure out and protects the water tank lifespan and keeps safety.

How VISSPLUS DHW HP Production Avoid Leakage of Gas or Water?
Most heat pump water heater gas leakage points come from the welding points in the evaporator, The straight copper coil around the water tank has an extremely low probability of leak. VISSPLUS heat pump factory invested “Gas Leakage Vacuum Automatic Box” equipment on each production line. It reduces the gas leakage ratio to 0.01%. VISSPLUS is one of very few heat pump factories that have “Gas Leakage Vacuum Automatic Box” equipment.
The domestic hot water tank is constructed from big flat steel and some steel parts by welding technology. The tank body, head, bottom, and water in and out parts are 100% sealed by Robots intelligent operation “Human Being” welding anymore. Every complete water tank will be tested for leakage in a huge water tank before heat preservation foam coated.
Customized DHW Heat Pump

Different levels of stainless steel (Duplex 2205, SS316L, and SS304)and enamel-coated steel material are optional. The solar hot water heat exchanger is optional for customers to add or not into the VISSPLUS DHW HP water tank. and solar hot water is the priority when the solar hot water flows into the heat exchanger coil which is already immersed in the water tank,the solar hot water in the coil will transfer the heat to the water in the tank,at that time,the heat pump compressor and fan motor won’t need to run to save eneregy.
Available customization: material and color of the top part housing case, color of the water tank housing, different Logo styles and quality, and different demands on the packages.
Micro-channel aluminum condenser, copper coil, and round shape-aluminum coil-type condenser designs are optional for the customers. micro-channel aluminum are popular in domestic hot water heat pump charged by R290 refrigerant. A round-shaped copper coil is the good technical way to increase the unit’s efficiency.
